Using EquivTest

Choosing Your Study Design For Equivalence Testing

EquivTest™ allows you to conduct equivalence testing for industry standard experimental designs with equal or unequal n’s:

  • Two independent groups (Means & Proportions)
  • Paired outcomes (Means)
  • 2 X 2 Crossover designs (Means)

Setting Your Equivalence Testing Parameter

EquivTest™ allows for one-sided or two one-sided tests (TOST) and C.I.’s for user specified equivalence bounds.

Equivalence Bounds

With EquivTest™ users can easily opt for preprogrammed industry standard decision rules (e.g. two one-sided tests each at 5% for ratios of means within 80%/125%) or specify their own selections for significance levels and equivalence bounds.

Parametric & Nonparametric Tests and Confidence Intervals

EquivTest™ features one-sided and two one-sided tests (TOST) and confidence interval procedures based on the latest recommendations by leading statisticians.

Output Report and Graphical Features

EquivTest™ provides an extensive editable output report which records all equivalence test options selected as well as detailed analysis results. References for all tests and confidence intervals are included in the output reports.

EquivTest™ datasheets and output can be exported to a variety of statistical software applications for further analysis. Output can be exported to word processing or spreadsheet applications for inclusion in your study report.

In addition, EquivTest™ provides a range of standard statistical analysis features, (descriptive statistics, regression, ANOVA, etc.) as well as typical transforms needed for bioequivalence testing.

EquivTest™ provides integrated plots for your data (mean plots, box plots, histograms, scatterplots, probability plots)
