How does BMDP carry out Survival Analysis?

BMDP contains two programs for Survival Analysis

1L – Life Tables and Survivor Functions
2L – Survival Analysis with Covariates

Program 1L carries out two major functions:

1. It provides estimates of the survival functions, and
2. It compares survival functions across different subgroups.

2L provides two methods of analysis – the Cox proportional hazard model, and the accelerated failure time model.
