8D – Correlations with Missing Data
Correlations with Missing Data using BMDP Statistical Software Program 8D
Program 8D computes and saves correlation matrices and has options for computing correlations when data are missing. Correlations can be computed using (1) only those cases with no data missing or out of range, (2) computed separately for each pair of variables using all available data, and (3) computed from cases that have both values present, but using means computed from all acceptable values. Also see the maximum likelihood method in program AM.
- Correlation matrix for cases with complete data or with values missing (4 missing value formulas available for computing covariances and correlations)
- Matrices of pairwise frequencies, means and variances
- User-specified case weights
- t tests based on pattern of incomplete data
- Option for saving correlation or covariance matrices for further analysis
