2V – Analysis of Variance and Covariance with Repeated Measures

Analysis of Variance and Covariance with Repeated Measures using BMDP Statistical Software Program 2V

2V is a popular program that handles a wide variety of designs including Latin square, incomplete block and fractional factorials designs. Models can have grouping factors (between-groups or whole-plot factors), within factors (trial, split-plot, repeated measures, or within-subjects factors), or both. Each subject must have a response at all combinations of the trial factors, but group sizes may be unequal.

  • Designs with grouping factors (factorial), trial factors (repeated measures), or both
  • Orthogonal decomposition of trial factors (linear, quadratic and cubic effects)
  • Adjusted cell means and regression coefficients
  • Standard errors, marginals, and miniplots of adjusted cell means
  • Confidence intervals for adjusted cell means
  • User-specified contrasts for grouping and trial factors
  • Greenhouse-Geisser and Huynh-Feldt adjustments for repeated measures
  • Post-hoc test (Bonferroni confidence limits) for repeated measures
  • Options to plot group means and miniplots for repeated measures
  • Options for printing predicted values and residuals
