1V – One-way Analysis of Covariance

One-way Analysis of Covariance using BMDP Statistical Software Program 1V

While 1V does provide one-way analysis of variance, it is most frequently used for analysis of covariance with one main effect and one or more covariates.

  • ANOVA or ANCOVA table with tests of zero slope and equality of slopes
  • Pairwise t tests for adjusted group means
  • Regression coefficients, standard errors, t-values
  • Within-group slope for each covariate
  • Optional scatterplots and correlations
  • User-specified contrasts across group means or adjusted group means
