Correspondence Analysis
BMDP for Correspondence Analysis
Correspondence analysis is an exploratory multivariate technique that converts frequency table data into a graphical display in which row and column categories are depicted as points. Simple correspondence analysis involves two categorical variables and a graphical display of the corresponding two-way frequency table. Multiple correspondence analysis is an extension of this problem to three or more categorical variables and resembles a principal component analysis for categorical variables.
